What can go wrong with bite block?

On FDA’s Maude Adverse Event Report, dozens of reports related to bite blocks, such as laceration on a patient’s tongue, lip and face, or crack that happens when it is bitten hard.

To ensure the structure’s integrity and smooth edges, we put extra effort into developing its manufacturability. Our bite blocks are ergonomically designed and provide additional comfort to the patients with soft elastic and rubber.
