GORE® CARDIOFORM ASD Occluder

The GORE® CARDIOFORM ASD Occluder is a permanently implanted device designed for the percutaneous, transcatheter closure of ostium secundum atrial septal defects (ASDs). Its highly conformable design is engineered to adapt to a broad range of ASD anatomies, including defects with deficient retro-aortic rims. The pre-assembled occluder and delivery system support straightforward deployment, with the ability to assess, reposition and retrieve the device before final release. In the GORE ASSURED Clinical Study, the device demonstrated 100% closure success at 36 months, with no reported device erosions.
