PEP/Rmt valve

The Mediplast PEP/Rmt Valve is a respiratory therapy component designed for use with the PEP/Rmt system for breathing training and respiratory symptom management. The valve features dedicated inspiratory and expiratory ports and is combined with interchangeable resistors to create the desired level of breathing resistance. The system can be configured with a mouthpiece or face mask and can also be used with accessories such as a manometer or tracheostomy adapter. Eight resistor sizes are available, ranging from 1.5 mm to 6 mm, allowing the PEP/Rmt system to be adapted to different training requirements. The valve is supplied as a Medical Device Class I product and forms the core component of a non-invasive respiratory training system suitable for clinical and home use.
