Calima™* convective forced air warming system
The Medtronic Calima™ Convective Forced Air Warming System is designed to help maintain patient normothermia during surgery using controlled forced-air warming. The system offers three turbine speeds and four temperature settings, allowing clinicians to adjust airflow and temperature according to procedural requirements while helping minimise noise. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to position on a trolley, IV pole or beside the patient. Built-in temperature-control mechanisms support consistent warming, while the simple control panel facilitates straightforward operation. A lightweight, flexible hose with a secure clip connector provides easy connection to the selected warming blanket. The system is compatible with a broad range of Calima™ and WarmTouch™ overbody and underbody blankets designed for different surgical procedures and patient positions.
