BALT Magic Glue is a cyanoacrylate liquid embolic agent designed for endovascular embolisation procedures. It is used by trained interventional specialists for the embolisation of blood vessels, with applications including arteriovenous malformations and arteriovenous fistulas. Magic Glue is supplied as a sterile, single-use translucent liquid that rapidly polymerises when exposed to suitable conditions, allowing controlled vessel occlusion during embolisation. The product is intended for use with compatible catheters and ancillary devices and requires appropriate preparation and handling to avoid premature polymerisation. BALT specifies use by physicians trained in interventional neuroradiology or peripheral interventional radiology and experienced in angiographic and embolisation techniques.
