GORE-TEX® Suture

The GORE®-TEX® Suture is a non-absorbable, monofilament suture made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). It is designed for soft tissue approximation and ligation, particularly in cardiovascular and other surgical applications where secure tissue closure and reduced suture line bleeding are important. Its microporous structure and smooth handling characteristics support precise knot placement, minimal tissue reaction, and reduced leakage from needle holes.
