Description

Features

  • Compact inverted research microscope designed for laboratories with limited bench space.
  • CFI60 infinity optical system compatible with Nikon objectives offering high numerical apertures and long working distances.
  • Multiple observation methods including brightfield, phase contrast, apodized phase contrast, NAMC, DIC, Emboss Contrast and spindle observation.
  • Ts2R-FL configuration adds epi-fluorescence observation with up to four fluorescence channels.
  • High-intensity white LED illumination with Eco-illumination for efficient transmitted-light observation.
  • Emboss Contrast provides pseudo-three-dimensional imaging of thick samples and is compatible with plastic and glass culture dishes.
  • Stage height lowered by approximately 30% compared with Nikon’s ECLIPSE Ti2 inverted research microscope for improved ergonomics.
  • Optional rectangular mechanical stage provides 114 × 73 mm travel and adjustable XY travel limits.
  • Supports multiple specimen holders for Petri dishes, slides, Terasaki plates, well plates and hemocytometers.
  • Compact dimensions of approximately 286 × 466 × 542 mm and weight of about 17 kg for the Ts2R or 18 kg for Ts2R-FL.

Benefits

  • Space-efficient laboratory imaging: The compact design allows advanced inverted microscopy capabilities in smaller laboratory workspaces.
  • Versatile sample observation: Multiple contrast techniques allow users to select an appropriate imaging method for different specimen types and applications.
  • Flexible fluorescence capability: The Ts2R-FL provides multi-channel epi-fluorescence while retaining the compact microscope format.
  • Improved operator ergonomics: The lowered stage and accessible controls help support comfortable repetitive sample handling and observation.
  • Efficient sample manipulation: The optional mechanical stage offers extended travel and adjustable limits for systematic movement across well plates and other vessels.
  • Suitable for cell culture workflows: The inverted configuration and range of holders accommodate common culture dishes, plates and slides.
  • Laminar-flow-hood compatibility: Its compact footprint and low stage design make the microscope easier to operate within laminar flow hood environments.
  • Stable imaging platform: The compact integrated structure is designed to provide vibration-resistant, stable sample observation.
