Nikon SMZ25/SMZ18 Stereo Microscopes
Nikon SMZ25 / SMZ18 are research stereomicroscopes designed for high-resolution imaging across a wide range of magnifications, from whole-organism observation to detailed cellular structures. The SMZ25 features a motorized 25:1 zoom range, while the SMZ18 provides an 18:1 manual zoom range. Nikon’s Perfect Zoom System maximizes light transmission across the zoom range while maintaining high resolution and low aberration. SHR Plan Apo objectives provide detailed, true-to-life colour imaging, while optional epi-fluorescence supports sensitive fluorescence observation. Additional capabilities include oblique coherent contrast (OCC) illumination, multichannel imaging, time-lapse acquisition, extended depth of focus and digital imaging with Nikon cameras and NIS-Elements software.
