PuraBond – Absorbable Haemostat
PuraBond® is a synthetic absorbable haemostatic material supplied in a convenient prefilled syringe for use during surgical and endoscopic procedures when conventional methods of haemostasis, such as ligation, are insufficient or impractical. Its synthetic peptide technology self-assembles into a three-dimensional nanofibre matrix when exposed to an ionic solution such as blood or other bodily fluids, forming a gel at the bleeding site. Designed for rapid application without preparation, PuraBond® provides surgeons with a simple and efficient option for managing bleeding from small blood vessels, capillaries and vascular anastomoses.
