Starlock Stabilair

The Etac Star StabilAir is a pressure-redistributing wheelchair cushion designed to combine the protective qualities of an air-cell cushion with the familiar feel and stability of foam. Its interconnected vertical air cells adapt to the user’s body shape and movements, helping distribute pressure across the seating surface. Each cell contains a soft, anatomically contoured foam cylinder that slows airflow, enhances stability and supports immersion and envelopment. The cylinders are higher at the sides and lower beneath the buttocks, coccyx and legs to help accommodate the body’s contours. Air pressure can be adjusted through a single valve to suit individual positioning and comfort requirements. Available in 7.5 cm and 10 cm cell heights and a wide range of sizes, the StabilAir is suitable for wheelchair users who need pressure redistribution alongside enhanced sitting stability. It can be cleaned by wiping, hand washing or using a 70% disinfectant solution, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
