The Ashburton

The CareFlex Ashburton is a bariatric rise and recline chair designed to provide comfortable, supportive seating for adults with higher body-weight requirements and limited mobility. With a maximum user weight capacity of up to 40 stone (254 kg), depending on the mechanism selected, it supports assisted standing, reclining and repositioning. Its robust construction and supportive armrests help facilitate safer transfers and assist carers with everyday handling tasks. Reflex foam seat cushions provide comfort and support, while vapour-permeable, waterproof upholstery combines durability with a low-friction surface designed to minimise shear. Removable seat wraps and cushions support cleaning and infection-control routines. An integrated battery backup provides an additional safeguard during a power interruption. Optional Dartington back supports are available by special request to help meet individual seating requirements.
