Vigo Head Drive

The Switch-It Gyroset Vigo is a wireless, proportional head control system designed to enable powered wheelchair users to drive and operate compatible devices through subtle head movements. A lightweight, discreet headset uses gyroscope sensors to detect head position and movement, translating these into directional wheelchair commands. Its adjustable settings allow individual head movements to be configured independently, accommodating different ranges of movement and changing user requirements. As the headset is worn by the user rather than fixed to the wheelchair, its position remains consistent during changes in seating position and transfers. In addition to powered wheelchair driving and seating functions, the Vigo can operate as a wireless head mouse for compatible computers, smartphones and tablets. Bluetooth connectivity and a rechargeable battery support cable-free operation.
