Aquilant Hosts First Nurse-Focused Interventional Endoscopy Study Day in Cardiff

Last month, Aquilant, part of Healthcare 21 UK, held its first Nurse-Focused Interventional Endoscopy Study Day in Cardiff, a full day dedicated to education, skills development and hands-on practice in advanced endoscopy techniques.

The programme was designed to support endoscopy nurses in building both knowledge and confidence in interventional procedures. A mix of lectures and practical workshops gave attendees the chance to consolidate theory and immediately put new skills into practice.

Aquilant was joined by the Andorate team from GA Health, who led training sessions and shared practical guidance on designing and optimising endoscopy workflows, with a focus on applying best practice in everyday clinical settings. The study day was also supported by Fujifilm Healthcare UK, whose involvement in the hands-on sessions allowed delegates to work directly with current endoscopy technologies.

Engagement throughout the day was consistently high, with plenty of discussion and interaction, reflecting Aquilant’s commitment to supporting education and professional development within the nurse community.
