First Auryon Laser Atherectomy Case Completed at The Royal London Hospital

Aquilant, part of Healthcare 21 UK, is pleased to congratulate the team at Barts Health NHS Trust on successfully completing the first laser atherectomy case using the Auryon system at The Royal London Hospital. Working in close partnership with the clinical team, we provided on-site support and expertise to help introduce the system safely and effectively into practice.

Auryon, from AngioDynamics International, is a revolutionary laser atherectomy system for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), both above and below the knee. The technology offers clinicians new possibilities for tackling complex and challenging cases, with the potential to improve outcomes for patients living with PAD.
