This RT-PCR machine is one of the fastest on the market, while maintaining excellent reproducibility, high specificity and sensitivity. Human error is also reduced by using microchip plates for the samples. The microchip is designed to ensure that the complete well is at optimal conditions, not just some of it. These are available with empty wells or can have customisable well surface chemistry which are ready to use. The plates have hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts to reduce cross well contamination.

  • There are only two pipette steps required, compared to 4 for other PCR machines, and this way of conducting PCR uses 20-25 times less volume than test tube PCR
