Why It Matters: A Closer Look at Our Work
The last two quarters have been particularly busy, with multiple audits and ongoing product recalls keeping us on our toes. Exactly one year ago, Medtronic initiated one of the largest product recall we have ever experienced—a process that, even today, remains far from being resolved. These events highlight just how crucial our work is—and why we want to share more detail around the processes that keep the business running smoothly and safely.
As much as I’d love to cover every aspect of our work, this issue will focus on three key areas to give you a clearer insight into the impact and importance of what we do. We encourage you to explore our latest articles on:
- Audits – How we prepare, what they mean for the business, and why getting them right protects our reputation and market access.
- FSNs & Recalls – What happens when things go wrong, how we manage the risk, and why quick, effective action is critical.
- Sustainability – A key priority for both the UK government and our customers. To stay competitive, our efforts can’t just meet expectations—they need to exceed them. Sustainability is not a trend; it’s a strategic imperative, and quality has a major role to play.
These articles offer valuable insight into the ‘why’ behind our daily work—and how it contributes to the company’s long-term success.
