Cutting-Edge Care: Quantum Stream & Endovascular Navigation

For more than 50 years, Ziehm Imaging has been setting new technological standards, empowering surgeons and medical professionals with precision and efficiency. This continues as we move through 2025.

The redesigned Quantum Stream imaging system brings the entire premium portfolio to the forefront of clinical excellence. Additionally, we have Endovascular Navigation, which has been integrated into a mobile C-arm for the first time. This is accelerating clinical workflows, improving accurate decision-making, and expanding treatment options like never before.

Quantum Stream allows users to benefit from premium imaging quality, higher image efficiency, streamlined intraoperative workflows, more clarity in image quality, greater precision for the surgeon, and therefore safer interventions and improved patient outcomes.

With Endovascular Navigation, physicians can achieve more accuracy and benefit from greater confidence during demanding hybrid interventions. The combination of pre-operative CT data and intraoperative images leads to even more accurate results while helping to reduce radiation dose and the use of contrast agents.

Ziehm Imaging is pioneering with Endovascular Navigation and presenting two different options:

ALL-IN-ONE SOLUTION

Endovascular Navigation for aorto-iliac procedures is directly integrated into the mobile C-arm. A dedicated workflow on a single user interface combining imaging and Endovascular Navigation with image fusion enables simple and fast handling.

STAND-ALONE SOLUTION

With the EndoNaut workstation from Therenva, existing imaging systems can be easily expanded to include an Endovascular Navigation solution via plug & play.

Therenva EndoNaut goes live in Basildon!

My experience; the Endosize and Endonaut systems are intuitive and easy to use. I have used the system for the full range of aortic procedures; thoracic, thoraco-abdominal, simple and complex abdominal procedures, its proven to be accurate and the ease with which I can manipulate and highlight areas of interest intra-procedurally has led to reduced radiation, operating times and very accurate stent placement.

Mr Vijay Gadhvi
Consultant Vascular Surgeon

ENDONAUT and ENDOSIZE have transformed our practice. Not only have we documented reduced radiation exposure and contrast needs, we now increasingly notice shorter times to implantation of EVAR and FEVAR grafts.

There is an added benefit of using ENDONAUT in conjunction with be back catheters to re-canalise  shuttered or inadvertent occlusion of target vessels. Therenva have been very wise to twin the two software programs together with a full library of Endovascular  devices to plan procedures.

Teaching Partnership Project with Cardiff University

Our clinical applications manager Mehran supporting students in a safe learning environment, showcasing innovative technology which will enhance the future of radiology!

Supporting the future: Radiography Training Day at Cardiff University

The Xograph team were delighted to join colleagues from Canon Medical Components Europe, and the team at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd for an insightful training day showcasing the Arcoma X-ray suite. This state-of-the-art system integrates advanced imaging technology to enhance clinical practice.

The training covered cutting-edge topics such as AI and future technologies, exploring their impact on radiography. A highlight was Canon’s INR (Intelligent Noise Reduction), which supports accurate diagnosis and treatment by minimising noise in clinical images.

Huge thanks to the staff and students involved, whose enthusiasm and passion made the day so worthwhile and enjoyable.

At Xograph, we are committed to investing in the future of all Radiographers, ensuring we deliver cutting-edge technology to best prepare students for clinical practice.

Sharper Images, Lower Doses: Discover Canon’s Intelligent Noise Reduction (INR)

Canon’s Intelligent Noise Reduction (INR) helps deliver high quality diagnostic images with the potential for a significant dose reduction without the loss of anatomical detail.

By utilising an algorithm that is based on deep-learning, INR can help read and eliminate noise on clinical images.

INR was developed using machine learning and an existing clinical database to create a neural network for deep learning. It can identify the characteristics of noise and by applying the pre-learned neural network, a noise-reduced image is created.

Employing INR can help users comply with ALARA principles due to the potential to reduce dose whilst improving image quality.

The example images on the right demonstrate the difference that INR can make to the diagnostic quality of an image, and by applying INR to the original, you can see that it has improved the diagnostic value, thus aiding in making a more accurate diagnosis.

The level of INR can also be adjusted based on user preference as well so that it can really be tailored to specific needs.

As you can see from the example images on the left-hand side there is a clear difference between INR and conventional noise reduction. The images that have INR applied to them demonstrate a vast improvement in the diagnostic image quality.

Enhancing Dental Imaging: Training on the Cutting-Edge Planmeca Viso G7

Our Clinical Applications manager Mehran Khan delivering applications training on the Viso G7 at St George’s Hospital, London.

The Planmeca Viso product family consists of four fantastic CBCT imaging units, all offering outstanding image quality to dental professionals.

Patient positioning is done directly from the unit’s control panel, utilising integrated cameras and a live patient view, which allows seeing the patient live from the control panel for flexible and exact FOV positioning. The volume size can also be adjusted freely.

All our CBCT units offer the unique and scientifically proven Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ imaging protocol.

It allows clinicians to acquire 3D images at significantly lower effective patient doses without a statistical reduction in image quality.

Planmeca Viso’s 120 kV tube voltage enables optimised quality for challenging imaging cases – reducing artifacts and ensuring great image quality even when imaging patients with larger heads.

See what our customers say

The Dudley Group provides both elective and emergency vascular and non-vascular Interventional Radiology services to the Black Country population.

With the growing demand for complex interventional procedures, we recently purchased the Ziehm RFD C-arm to meet the evolving needs of our service. We required a system that would deliver on key priorities: dose optimisation, high image quality, and portability—and the Ziehm RFD delivers in all of these areas.

This system serves as a backup unit to our Interventional and Hybrid theatres for vascular/non- Vascular work and as the primary unit for renal embolisation’s and specific maternity cases.

Throughout the purchase process, we found the Xograph team to be highly engaged and supportive of our system configuration requirements. From initial technical discussions to final delivery, their commitment to ensuring the system was built to meet our specific requirements was evident. The team worked closely with us, from the clinical product manager all the way up to the managing director, to upgrade the initial configuration. This included adding an articulating arm, UHD monitor, and wireless footswitch, all built and delivered within a tight timeframe.

The excellent service continued once the system was delivered. The setup was completed promptly, and the engineers ensured that the installation and post-installation applications aligned seamlessly with the trust’s clinical workload.

The Ziehm RFD C-arm has proven to be a reliable, high-quality addition to our services. It supports all of our clinical needs with good image quality, effective dose optimisation, and a user-friendly interface. We are very pleased with both the system and the support provided by the Xograph team.

Ziehm Vision RFD CMOS mobile C-arm and Xograph Team
Adam Pringle, Interventional & Fluoroscopy Principal Radiographer, Russells Hall Hospital

At Neath Port Talbot Hospital, we’ve had the Ziehm C-Arm for a couple of years. We recently started using the 3D software for spinal operations. When we started using this software, Xograph provided thorough training and continued support throughout our first cases, giving us reassurance and increased confidence quickly. The processes and procedures for using the machine, in Both 2D and 3D mode, are very straightforward making it easy to use.

Some of the features for post-processing are more intuitive than other machines we’ve had experience using. For example, changing the rotation or brightness of an image is done by touching and dragging on the screen rather than a button for either minor or larger adjustments at a time.

Xograph as a team have been consistently supportive, sending engineers promptly for any problems, discussing troubleshooting over the phone where possible, and providing thorough and detailed training whenever required.

Overall, we enjoy using the Ziehm and would recommend the machine itself and Xograph as a team.
